# Cardano Blockchain

Cardano has stood the test of time, proving its strength through its community and technology. Despite not supporting smart contracts (and thus no dApps) the developers and community kept innovating and building an exceptionally green blockchain which boasts high transaction speeds with low fees. 

Since the Alonzo hard-fork, smart contracts have been available since mid-September 2021 and token swaps and Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) are already gearing for launch. 

The marriage of Cardano and gaming is bound to happen and we aim to be the first to utilize this window of opportunity.
