# Tokenomics

### The $WOR Token

Wolves Of Rome will have a native token built as a side-currency on the Cardano blockchain. As our community is of utmost importance for our success, we think it’s vital that their voices be heard in regards to our game’s development and how that, in turn, may affect our ecosystem.

That’s why we are releasing our $WOR token into the world. Holding the token will give players access to exclusive events, in-game tier-representative cosmetics, membership status and more.

But most importantly; ***Governance!** Holding $WOR gives players the right to vote on various areas of development.*

Governance voting is an integral part of our ecosystem and it will help to ensure that our vision and development align as much as possible with that of our communities.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://sempercozy.gitbook.io/wolves-of-rome/tokenomics-and-nfts/tokenomics.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
